Europe’s first Corvette ZR1s arrive in the UK

Specialist high-performance retailer Clive Sutton has secured the first two new ZR1s to reach Europe, both delivered to the UK following import and homologation. The pair consist of a Competition Yellow car fitted with the full carbon-fibre aerodynamic package and a contrasting black example with red racing stripes. Both are drawn from the initial production batch of fewer than 200 cars built during 2025, underlining the ZR1’s scarcity outside North America.

The latest ZR1 sits at the pinnacle of the Corvette range and represents the most extreme factory-built iteration of the model to date. Power comes from a 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 1,064 bhp, driving the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Chevrolet claims 0–60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 233 mph, figures that place the ZR1 firmly in modern hypercar territory.

Performance credentials were reinforced in June last year when the ZR1 recorded a 6:50.76 lap time around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, a benchmark that positioned it directly against Europe’s fastest road cars. Advanced aerodynamics, including a prominent rear wing and extensive carbon-fibre components, are paired with adaptive suspension to deliver stability at sustained high speed, whether on road or track.

Clive Sutton, Founder and CEO, said: “We’ve imported the world’s most desirable high-performance and luxury vehicles for almost 40 years, but I still get excited by supercars like the ZR1. We are proud to have secured the UK, and Europe’s, first models and we’ve already sold two of the first three cars we’ve brought in.”

The black example has already been sold, as has a third ZR1 due to arrive shortly, while the Competition Yellow car remains available. Sutton has confirmed that sourcing, import and UK homologation processes are in place to support further customer orders for both coupé and convertible versions.

Inside, the ZR1 adopts a driver-focused cockpit with sports seats, digital instrumentation and contemporary connectivity, balancing usability with its extreme performance brief. With US-market cars reportedly trading at significant premiums over list price, UK pricing through Sutton is quoted from £365,000 to £425,000 depending on specification, inclusive of import duty, VAT, homologation and registration.
